  • 12 Aug 2010 - Added a whole new page of links to the volumes (1-40 at present) of "The LOEB Classical Library".
  • 30 March 2010 - Added the Yale University Catalog entry for Cyprian to the Bibliographies page.
  • 8 March 2010 - Three references added: Burns, J. Patout. "Cyprian of Carthage." The Expository Times 120, no. 10 (2009): 469-77. ISBN/ISSN/OCLC 0014-5246 ; Eber, Jochen. "De Baptismo -- Über Die Taufe. (German)." European Journal of Theology 16, no. 2 (2007): 122-24. ISBN/ISSN/OCLC 0960-2720 ; Gil-Tamayo, Juan Antonio. "Battezzati Nell'unica Vera Chiesa? Cipriano Di Cartagine E La Controversia Battesimale. (Italian)." Scripta Theologica 41, no. 1 (2009): 281-82. ISBN/ISSN/OCLC 0036-9764. The first was added to the Biographies, the other two to De Baptismo. These seem to be the only ones missing since the last update, at least according to EBSCO Host.
  • 1 March 2010 - Three new links have been added. Two on the Manuscript page, and one on the PG page. The new manuscript links in particular lead to some well executed images.
  • 15 Dec 2009 - "Albocicade" has kindly sent me two URLs to great sites on Cyprian. The first is by the Abbey of Saint Benoit de Port-Valais. It gives Cyprian's works (including all his letters) in French. The second is an 1837 French (downloadable) edition of Ad Quirinum testimonia adversus Judaeos. As they are in French, I haven't got a place for them, but they are too good to ignore. Thanks "Albocicade". Also added Petruccione, John.   • 26 Nov 2009 - Added notes to the sources of Migne's edition of Cyprian's works in Collected Latin.
  • 24 Nov 2009 - Made corrections to and added a link to PG 90 in Patrologia Graeca.
  • 10 Nov 2009 - After much work, the ENTIRE Patrologia Graeca of Migne is now available for FREE!
  • 4 Nov 2009 - Added links to the Patrologia Orientalis series.
  • 26 Oct 2009 - In Patrologia Latina a number of additional links added, and those that led to double volumes deleted.
  • 16 Oct 2009 - After much effort, I have completed a list of links (downloadable PDFs) to the entire Patrologia Latina (Patrologiae Cursus Completus. Series Latina) of Jacques Paul Migne.
  • 8 Sept 2009 - Paolo Bernardini, recently published his Ph.D. thesis, Un Solo Battesimo, Una Sola Chiesa : Il Concilio Di Cartagine Del Settembre 256, Testi E Ricerche Di Scienze Religiose, 43. Bologna: Il mulino, 2009. ISBN 9788815120724. He has kindly offered his Bibliography for publication on this site and I've placed it all AS IS in Sententiae Episcoporum De Haereticis Baptizandis. I am delighted with his major contribution of over 250 references and thank him most warmly. Perhaps one day I will provide links for them all. Any volunteers?

  • 7 May 2009 - New entry in Generalia: Blowers, Paul M. "Envy's Narrative Scripts: Cyprian, Basil, and the Monastic Sages on the Anatomy and Cure of the Invidious Emotions." Modern Theology 25, no. 1 (2009): 21-43. ISBN/ISSN/OCLC 0266-7177. This is the first item in ATLA on Cyprian for 2009.

  • 20 March 2009 - Added De sensu martyrii page. The Generalia page has been updated to take account of the new Controversy page. Whole site now contains about 700 references.
  • 18 March 2009 - Added De Paenitentia page.
  • 17 March 2009 - Added De Eucharistia page.
  • 9 March 2009 - Much of the CCSL 3.1 has now been incorporated. Extra categories have now been added, the remainder of which will be filled in due course. The CCSL 3.1 Bibliography attempted to be a comprehensive bibliography up until c 1972. This site also incorporates all material from the ATLA database on Cyprian of Carthage, which claims most material from 1949 to the present. Thus the bibliographies of categories already covered can lay claim to a high level of completeness. Readers may be interested to know that this site now contains about 660 different references.
  • 12 Feb 2009 - As promised my own bibliography (now taken down) has been sorted and each reference supplied with a link. Page URL's have been simplified - so bookmarks may have to be reset. Apologies for any inconvenience. I now want to incorporate the bibliography from CCSL 3.1, some of which has been done. This will be a big task, so pages may not change for a while.

  • 4 Feb 2009 - Created a new category, Generalia, and rearranged Bibliographies.
  • 3 Feb 2009 - Added some more links to the Bibliographies.
  • 1 Feb 2009 - Launched a new web site, homiletic.info. Working on eliminating my own Cyprian bibliography. I am redistributing each entry into appropriate categories, providing a link for each entry and also ISBN/ISSN/OCLC numbers. Hope to have it finished in the next week or so.

Weber and Maurice Bévenot. Turnholti [Belgium]: Brepols, 1972. Also added many new secondary works to Epistulae as well as fixed up the Latin Editions.
  • 20 Jan 2009 - Reorganised and added to the English Translations of the Epistulae.
